Location: The airport is 10 miles (16km) southwest of Durban.

Getting to the city: An airport bus service is available to connect to the city, and a coastal town service carries passengers to the outlying resorts. Airport shuttle services include Cheetah Coaches (033 342 0266), Coastal Motor Transport Bus Service (031 465 5573) and Super Shuttle (031 465 1606). Taxis are available from outside the departures terminal and cost about R100 to the city centre, approximately half an hour away. Several car rental companies are represented at the airport.
Car rental: Numerous car rental companies represented at the airport include Avis, Khaya, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and National.
Airport Taxis: Taxis are available from outside the departures terminal and cost about R100 to the city centre, approximately half an hour away. Taxi services include A Hassan Taxis (031 564 0734), Aussies Radio Taxis (031 309 7888) and Boshoff Taxis (031 306 6330).
Facilities: Facilities at the airport include ATMS, a bank, lounges, a post office, restaurants and bars, and shops. Disabled facilities are good; those with special needs should contact their airline in advance.
Parking: Parking is available.
